to different diseases. Involved in free radical neutralization and detoxifies. Some factors that can
deplete glutathione levels include alcohol, acetaminophen, aspartame, tobacco smoke, fuel exhaust;
household chemicals such as detergents, fabric softeners, air fresheners, mothballs, cleaners, bleach;
genetic variants. Basically, anything the body has to detoxify will diminish the bodies glutathione level.

Type of chemical called an amino sulfonic acid which is naturally occurring in the body. Has important functions in the heart and brain. Helps support nerve growth. Usually well absorbed orally unless  malabsorption or decreased diet intake.
 

Recommended for: Major role in brain functioning. Helps with anxiety, helps with focus. Improves glucose tolerance and insulin utilization, decreases serum cholesterol, muscle recovery, macular
degeneration, overall performance.

Recommended for: Vitamin D deficiency. A lab level can help determine if deficient and guide recommendations on dosage frequency. We can perform lab test or can have PCP perform and bring to appointment.
